Talking about most Pakistani people NOT all.

Many Many Muslims disagree with Pakistani laws and practices.

They hardly practice Islam properly and do sins all the time- mostly shirk (associate someone/thing with Allah). For example, they have a blue hand to protect them aparently, but they should seek God's protection only.

Another one is they ask dead people for help!! This is strictly forbidden in Islam, we should only ask Allah for help etc..

Therefore, Islam is Not properly practiced by some/most people in Pakistan, unfortunately.

Why would they execute you for that? No that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Islamic law. Pakistan is partly a dysfunctional state run by dictators and corrupt elected politicians.

Nothing will happen to you or that Imam and is not supposed to happen even under Islamic law.
