How many nuclear weapons will be needed to destroy India?

It depends on the power of the bombs used as they vary greatly. A small fission bomb may be of even 0.1 kT of TNT but a big thermonuclear bomb has no such limit. It can be even 10,000 times more powerful than a 10 kT Fission bomb too. It was reported in 1992 that when Soviet Union fragmented , Kazakhstan had large number of all types of nuclear weapons & 45 big missiles of thermonuclear weapons were missing , being so much powerful that a single one can destry India's big states like Rajasthan & Maharastra. Those missiles were reportedly reached Pakistan. Pakistan has uranium enrichment methods of many types but the cheapest one being used is NOT of Dr. A Q Khan rather, the one developed by another scientist Dr. Husain, by enriching uranium upto 100% in ONE step in the cheapest Liquid System, kept a top state secret, not known to even USA. Dr Khan's method became >500 times costlier, so discarded by Pakistan & that's why, that was probably sold to other nations for minting money only as for all other nations that is still the next cheapest one. That simple method needs a simple technical trick, never clicked in other minds but if that is told to anyone, one would say he/she too could have done easily but that tricky point didn't strike his/her mind. Plutonium bombs are smaller & handy but their powers are low & their costs are much higher. Judge yourself . All these things are well reported in media.

When Dr. Khan became redundent & useless for nuclear fuel b coz of Dr. Husain, he, being extra brilliant was given missile development work which he did too efficiently & is still doing, not a crime at all. He is no longer involved in nuclear projects after 1976 & was all the time busy in missile projects only.

A nuclear war cannot be won by anybody b coz by destroying enemiy's land one makes that highly radioactive unusable for billions of years to come totally. What is the use of using such a weapon which gives you such useless land of the enemy forever ? Moreover, NO Neighbour will ever use nuclear weapons as the radioactive nuclear fall outs will reach there destroying the air, ground water & sea water completely for billions of years destroying that nation too. Foolish people don't know that if at all nuclear weapons are used in Indian subcontinent, thick black clouds will remain on the entire land for many years & the sun will not at all be visible. Radioactive fallouts destroying human civilisation for billions of years to come will be certainly there. Entire Himalaya will be stripped of snow forever & all rivers will vanish too additionally. What is the fault of other smaller neighbours which too will be affected like Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Sri Lanka & Afghanistan who have nothing to do with Indo-Pak dispute.

Nuclear weapons possession can be used at most as a credible deterrent only for any majour armed conflict, nothing more than that. Nuclear weapon possession actually prevented escalation of small Kargil Conflict into a full scale Indo-Pak War & in 2001 - 2002 too it prevented even start of the possible war. It is said that it prevented wars in 1984, 1987, 1988 &1990 too earlier as disclosed by late Ghulam Ishaaq Khan, former Pakistan's president & most silent shrewd bureaucrate responsible for development of Pakistan's nuclear weapons speedily. He was in bureaucracy for 50 years called a 'silent water'. It is said that his DANDA(stick) worked very much for development of all nuclear projects as he was visiting all laboratories to see the progress every week.

Most of Indian TV news channels ask lengthy questions to the opposite persons like a big speech where central point is obscured badly. They don't even know how to ask a question. There is a difference between question-answer session & a 'discussion'. Most of people ignore this point & convert that into an 'altercation' on Y/A.

India/Paksitan can be destroyed by hitting them on the main strategic points. Its not necessary that one nuke the other with nuclear bomb. Just hit them in the gut and game over. e.g. Destroy India's dams. It will change the game. No need to ruin the land :)

Otherwise, Pakistan has already developed the systems capable to target every inch of India. Obviously neither Pakistan Nor India will survive the war if it happens. Pakistan can't fight any other country. In strategic point of view, the army, the missiles everything is designed to target India in every way. And i am sure India also did the same. So, the answer is We can't say, Or we don't know how many nuclear weapons will be needed to destroy India :P May be only one or may be non or may be 100.... God knows :P

Certainly NOT.. Neither Israel nor America have the right to police other nations for nukes. They said Iraq had weapons of MASS DESTRUCTION which eventually turned out to be a hoax. Still Americans are trying to find the weapons of mass destruction. It's America with the help of Israel bombed Japan with Nuke and they have no right to say that we have the weapons but will not use them. What about Pakistan? they have nuke and they test it every now and then inspite of being an ally of the USA. India had tested 3 times and Americans seem to have reached a Nuke agreement with them. I am not sure why they target Iran and North Korea when there is not much of Oil there..

The very existence of Israel is based upon injustice. It was created by fraud and terrorism against poor Palestinians and it's creation had no moral foundation. Zionism advocates for the right for the Jews to return back to their so called home land three thousand years after their exodus but is not ready to give the same right to the Palestinians who were hunted out of their homes just few decades back. I was reading a report on India's defence capabilities. And according to that report at the most, Pakistan can drop a nuclear missile at the max at Mumbai and within 90 seconds, India has capabilities to vanish Pakistan from world map. Thus Pakistan will never ever dare to do any such notorious acts. These are just political acts.
