Travelling to Philippines?

I will be travelling to Manila (Clark) with my friends by the end of October. I heard it will be a rainy season then, but will I still be able to enjoy the week's trip?

Tell me about the food & shopping :)

Thanks.

Seriously, I'm a Filipino, welcome to the Philippines and Mabuhay!

yes, October will be a rainy season, but you can still enjoy our foods here in the Philippines, like Adobo!

Malls here in the Philippines are (almost) everywhere! There's the Glorietta, Trinoma, SM Mall of Asia, and a lot many more!

So we Filipinos, want to thank you (if you're still planning to go here in the Philippines) for going here!

    MABUHAY!

Scuba divers usually go to Palawan or Batangas. Go to the malls. I suggest that you see the Mall of Asia, this is bigger than the Mall of America. This is located in Pasay City. From there, you can go to the Baywalk, which is usually open at nights. We have nice malls. You can find SM Department stores everywhere. If you are found of the nightlife, then go to Malate or Makati. Go to Intramuros. WOW Philippines usually feature the different provinces in the Philippines and they have programs, usually cultural. We have nice churches in Intramuros too and nice restaurants. We had been influenced by the Spanish x 300 years. The Philippines has 7,100 islands. Boracay, is a well known tourist spot especially for those who loves the beaches. You can hit Palawan with 2 stones, you can enjoy nature, go swimming or scuba diving. Tagaytay or Baguio are the coolest places here in the Philippines. Pagudpud in Ilocos has nice beaches. You can go around Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte. In Vigan, you can see the old houses there. Cebu City and Davao City are also well known tourist destinations. However, the climate is just like Manila. It is a little bit hot. If you want to go back in history, then go to Corregidor.

Food is good, try the filipino foods, eat at the seaside restaurant you can pick the seafoods you like and then they cook it ! yum...and its located very close to Mall of Asia which is great if you like shopping coz its huge and there is 2 rly nice stores for souiveniers is you are plannning to get those. Umm, I stayed at Atrium hotel in Manila, it was nice cept for theres no pool. but i love the rooms. Glorietta mall is nice too they added on more stores. but DEFINATELY go to Divisoria you get sooo cheap stuff and good things too, that are so expensive here.

I ate at a restaurant in Glorietta i forgot what its called but they had good squid! lol enjoy your trip, i know i did ! ;D

Check your travel agent to see if there is any seats open at that time, that will tell you that a lot of people come here during the month of October.

You will be able to do & see everything.

Good food here as well as lots of shopping just expect to pay less for things than you do now!

Every time it rains Filipinos call that "rainy season". Its raining somewhere every day. Don't worry about it.

The food mostly is not fit for human consumption but you'll lower your standards because you will get hungry.

Of the ten million people pushing and shoving you around in the huge shopping malls, about 8 of them are buying something. Enjoy your shopping, that makes 9.

Since you are in Clark.. visit Olongapo City too, an hour away from Clark.. they are having OKToFest during October... a Mardi-Gras, its lot of fun.

For the love of God don't visit the Philippines.

Elena Campbell (whatever her name is), a missionary got killed here.

The Beatles have been "beatled" here

Alec Baldwin, will be crippled by a lawmaker named Senator Ramon "Bobong" Revilla Jr. if he ever step his foot here in the Philippines. He will led a mayhem to Baldwin.

If you really want to visit the Philippines then don't forget to protect your valuables

    Welcome and Mabuhay!
