Where can i find an inexpensive video program to do this...?
i run the sound and video at our church. and not very well at that. they are doing a concert and are asking me is it posssible to have lyrics animated and the background images moving on the screen. not powerpoint style, with a picture and lyrics pasted on top of it. something like in this video:

can someone give me an idea where to find an inexpensive program. most of the places i've ask start at $400. thats about $350 more than i want coming out of my pocket, oh yeah, anything i buy is at my expense. we're a small church of about 150 ppl
sorry forgot to mention the audio portion is not important becuz we will have live music. its just the visual i need to do.

This Karaoke player may be what you're after. You may have to make your own karaoke files, but it's not difficult.

hi,
sorry but the link u posted didnt load for me,but i think i know what u need to do.
you should be able to make video with subtitles with -
1. windows movie maker (this is free and comes already installed on all computers - just click on start/programs/windows movie maker.
2.Nero movie maker - i beleive u can download a free trial of this -http://www.nero.com/enu/support-downloads.html

I believe Linex has video editing software. it might be the susie version. and it is very reasonable...but you may need a duel operating system.
