  • Religion was indeed used to explain things not yet understood by science. However, there are a few things science will never find the answer to: As a person, what is my purpose? Where do i come from? Where do i go after i die? Do i get anywhere at all?

Science covers the surrounding world and is governed by certain laws. Metaphysical questions like that wont likely be answered by science.

i think of the step forward is something that we can't even conceive of at modern-day. i think you does no longer have asked somebody 40 years in the past if we would be talking this form, because of the fact the assumption does no longer even have come on your suggestions. i think of although that we could have the potential to shuttle without employing transportation, including a motor vehicle for getting to assert from new york to Washington, something comparable to astral traveling. i think of if we die now and come back in one hundred years we would be so surprised on the advancements that have taken place that we would die lower back, with ask your self. Wanna wager?.

I hope not. It would be great if there was a new age of enlightment because religion was no longer needed. First we have to get through the next 100 years though. It is a very rocky road ahead of us.

Yes, it will. There are still many questions that remain unanswered. And there are time for many people that reach rock bottom where their faith is all that they have left. And there are many third world countries where religion is very important (which is probably why they're third world countries, they put religion first, always).

You mean if we survive global warming, the destruction of the environment, economic collapse, and don't have a nuclear disaster with some place like N. Korea?

Seems to me not only has religion weathered these "breakthroughs" over the last century, but none of them has served to contradict the Bible in any way. In fact, most all of science validates the Bible.

wars are started for three things and only three things

if you were as smart as you think you are you would know

    Those things are

    Greed of money

    Greed of land

    greed of power

    get over yourself

if you hate religions have enough balls to stand up and say that instead of trying to be smart or funny because in those aspects you fail

After 100 years of scientific "breakthroughs" God is still God, the bible is still the Bible and yet to be disproved and evolution is still (and always unproved)

I like the alergy medications though

Nuking the Middle East could really solve this problem.
