I got a virus from myspace, anyone else?

i don't care for myspace but i would say stay away from any ads that you can because most of the ads just want you to click them... it's not only myspace, there are many other sites that contain "bad" ads.

this is a great program and it even detects infected web pages before you visit them so you can abort before anything happens :D

yes, ive had that happen to me. Its a pain but i too found a program to clean it out. Never click on pop ups that say that you have a virus and it will run a free scan and download the software even if it looks like it came from your computer because the program itself is a virus.

i have never gotten a virus on myspace , but my sister did

she got a virus by browsing people's myspace ( she was trying to add people who she knew) and she came across someone's myspace and the profile led to something called Burn-Tube and a fake anti-virus page popped up.

also you can get a virus from looking at people's pictures.

i would advise you to be careful on that site or just avoid the site(and other sites like it) altogether.
