i found a baby nuthatch?

i need to feed it!!! water and sugar in an eyedropper, but i dont have an eyedropper!!!!!!!!!! any other way to feed it plz???!!

Update:

to first answerer:

a bird's sense of smell is not strong enough to smell a human on their child. i was mowing my yard so i had to move it because i was scared of running over it (or my dad doing so) and it ws terrified of the lawn mower noise any way. its out side right now, as i have finished mowing, but if the mom doesnt come till 9:30 ill take it inside.

Can it run on it's own? Fly? Does it have all of its feathers in? It has probably fledged and does not need your help. They are cavity nesters go find its nest, probably in the tree close to where you found it and leave it close to it somewhere with some cover from predators. If it is making noise the parents will find it. Do not wait. The parents will give up looking for it if you hide it from them for too long.

You don't feed it sugar water! Feed it bits of canned dog food, hard -boiled eggs yolk and any bugs you can find.If it has feathers, you can probably let it go in the morning.Just put it on a tree,it will cling with it's feet and call to it's parents. If you think it is truly orphaned, you need to call a wildlife rehabilitator,as it is illegal to keep a nuthatch. Your local veterinarians and animal shelters should know of any licensed rehabbers in your area.

Dude at the first place you weren't even suppose to pick it up.

I found a baby bird before, on the ground I knew it won't get hurt then when I cam back like 30 mins it was gone, cause the mother took care of it. The mom of it is probably worried sick! Doesn't matter if you find it on the ground or nest never take it away! You already got the human scent by now, no purpose of bringing it back cause once you get the human scent, the mother will never come back. Bring it to a vet or shelter. Don't even think about keeping it. Unless you got the right stuff and you know the right stuff. Tell your parent to bring it to a vet or shelter. I would bring it to the vet first to get it checked.
