I work for a bank, and I can tell you that a bank will NEVER email you about your account. We would want to speak with you face to face to discuss any personal information. That is a fake website. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION!!!!!!!!

It's a scam. Phishing. Someone trying to get your personal information from you, and obviously that is not for your own good.
Any reputable bank would write, not email. I got emails supposedly from chase bank and many others, warning my account would be closed - and I don't have any accounts with them !!!!!
That might tell you how genuine these emails are. Just delete.

DON'T ever give out your social security Number, pin, account number OR any personal information over an e-mail. A bank would NEVER contact a person asking for this via e-mail. I work at a bank, and this is definitely a scam. Please do not respond to the e-mail!

This is called Phising. Someone has set up a web site to look like a bank web site. Then they send mass emailing to everyone saying there is something wrong with their accounts, or their info needs verifying.
As soon as you go to the fake bank web site and enter your pin number, social security number, name, date of birth, etc. they empty your bank accounts and open credit cards in your name.
Banks request all verification problems, etc. be done in person in the bank lobby to prevent someone from being duped.
Delete it and forget it if you haven't sent them the info.

This is just a scam to get your information. DO NOT send them what they ask for or you will likely have your identity stolen and have a lot of problems. Banks will not usually ask for personal information like this through an email.
You should report that email scam to Chase. On the homepage they have a link to report these kind of scams.

~~Do NOT RESPOND! This is a trick to get your information. No bank would send this out via email. On Chase's website they have an option (it's kind of hard to find) for you to send them the email.
This of course is illegal, so do not fall for the scam!~~

Do not respond or provide this company with any personal information - contact chase head office and notify them of the email

Most likely it is spam. Banks do not contact you that way to "verify information." Don't reply. Forward it to Chase.

Did you order using a credit or debit card? Either way, if there is a credit balance on the account, the bank will have to send it to you. Make sure they have your correct current address on file.
