1year old birthday party help?

ok my daughter's bday is on the 13 of this month! i'm the last minute type of person. I hate planning bday parties. she is turnin 1. any ideas of themes or what to do? i was thinking about renting one of those huge blow up slides that have the lil sprinklers on top. but my backyard is too small. i was also thinkin about doin a hawaiian theme one but i know someone else doin that. and another friend of ours did the duckies. i'm so out of ideas! thanks to everyones help!!!!

    your daughter's NOT going to remember her first birthday, not even if your theme is "fairytale" (nice theme, though, huh?)

    so i'd keep it as simple as possible, to make her appreciate that what really matters is just the family being all together, and then just throw in a cake, candles and a couple gifts with wrapping paper not too tight so she can open it and she'll have a lot of fun!

    Do a cupcake party! Or something really cute like that. Anything with bright colors and toys I'm sure your daughter and her friends will love.
