The V6 Camaro out performance the Genesis coupe in every category...obviously it's no comparison if you include the SS.

The Genesis coupe is actually a nice car but it's outmatched against the Camaro.

Postman-How can a Chevy be a "cheap rip off" off of a Dodge and Mustang when they're nothing alike? That makes no sense. Then again you did buy a POS slow 350Z turd which says a lot right there...

Hyundai Genesis is much better than the Chevy Camaro. The Genesis has a v6 and would beat the v8 Camaro. The Genesis will also get much better gas mileage than a v8 Camaro. On a track the genesis will leave the Camaro because it has better built suspension. Trust me I have driven both of these cars and I know.

It ain't even close. Of course the Camaro. I don't even see how the so-called experts can even say that the Genesis Coupe is a competitor to the Camaro. Just because it's a coupe doesn't make it a sports car, it's still a luxury car I think. LOL

Chevy Camaro by a long shot. Don't buy an import buy American. The Camaro is pusin over 400 HP in the SS edition. The Genesis can't even touch that. The Chevy Camaro is better!

I would take the Genesis over the Camaro. If I didn't just buy my 350Z I would have seriously considered the Genesis. I think the Camaro is a cheap rip off of the Challenger and Mustang, not to mention ugly.

It depends on what year the camaro is and the conditions of both of the cars, assuming there used- or if new than obviously the Camaro concept

    No.

The V6 Genesis Coupe out performance the V6 Camaro in every category...

0-60 mph records in Car and Driver magazine. June 2009

Chevrolet Camaro LT (V6): 0-60mph in 5.9 seconds

    Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 (V6): 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds

According to Edmunds.com G37 Comparison Test, Hyundai Genesis Coupe V6 beats out Infiniti G37 by overall score.

According to Popular Mechanics G37 Comparison review, "..the extra $10,000 on the price tag of the Infiniti doesn’t seem quite worth it."

According to Motor trend review,"Obviously, Hyundai has much to be proud of with its first rear-drive sport coupe. The value is unbeatable. The quality is tip-top. The road manners are respectable. The styling, with its unique Z-shaped character line and drop-beltline rear window, is standout."

According to The Truth About Cars review, "...The biggest surprise in this entire package: the Genesis Coupe’s steering. While the Europeans seem to favor lighter and lighter steering feel (to disguise their model’s increasingly obese if safety-oriented curb weight), the Genesis feels perfectly weighted and precise. BMW’s M3—yes, that one—should take lessons from the Genesis Coupe’s steering rack. It serves-up Porsche-level feel, with just a tad less precision."

According to Canadian Auto Press review, "...This is an impressive performance coupe, as good at its sporting purpose as the Genesis sedan is at sport-luxury... i.e. very, very good. At top-speed, or somewhere near it, it feels totally planted.[...] Perfect... this car makes a good driver feel like a pro."

According to AutoSpies.com review, "My advice to all the AutoSpies.com faithful... If I was looking at the Mustang, Camaro and Challenger, I'd buy the Genesis Coupe. The Camaro and Challenger are better looking but as I said earlier, I like the driving position of the GC (Genesis Coupe), Z, G and 3 better, so I feel more comfortable driving that style of car and the GC is the better daily driver. Plus it has a 10 year warranty and they will probably be in business then."

According to The Detroit Bureau review, "Genesis Coupe is still a surprisingly affordable product, but this time, that’s not an excuse for all sorts of cut corners. The compromises are minimal and, if anything, the car delivers the sort of features, handling, performance and package we’d expect from a significantly more expensive automobile. Don’t be surprised to start seeing a lot of them on the road - and on the track."
