For now, id stick with donating blood and time. Or try and really change something and help alot of people by having a real fundraiser. (perhaps make it a 3.5 year high school program). Spend a year raising as much money as you can...get anyone you know to make donations, then have raffles/auctions. (ie if you know a woodworker, try and have him donate a really nice carving or interesting fruniture, and anyone with season tickets, tickets to a game). Have donation drives, and if possible, a fundraiser somewhere such as a church hall. Finally, see what local buisneses you can get to agree to match donations, or make some of their own.
Then spend the remaining half year of your senior year (or just normal time) and try to really get involved. Perhaps donate the money to building a teenage cancer ward, and then volunteer their daily for that half year...

Once you are the legal age for a drivers permit you can list this on the permit. There is an area that this is your wish if for some reason you get in a fatal accident. Then after you get a drivers license make sure to check the donor organ area on the back. Then your wishes will be known if something should happen. Otherwise you must wait until 18 before the doctors will even consider this. This is because your body is still growing, and until it matures you need all of your organs your self. Good luck and God Bless

you've gotta do some research about cancer, first, sweetie.
cancer seldom calls for organ transplants.
you need your organs.
it's great that you want to help out, but there are other ways. fund raising for cancer relief. donating long hair to locks of love to make wigs for kids undergoing chemotherapy.
donate blood for people with diseases like cystic fibrosis.
ps. to donate, if a minor, you must have parental consent.
then when you get your driver's license, be an organ doner.. then if you're ever in a fatal accident, your organs will be removed and used for transplants.

Well you can get a license for it (but i think you need to be like 18+ years old), and then when you die people will donate parts of your body.

what body parts were u looking to donate? usually if u have cancer a body part isnt going to solve the problem, they usually could use bone marrow but its only to the person u are related to who has the same type as u.
