It’s your ligaments. Your baby is putting a lot of weight on you! My DD was born at 37 weeks and was 8 lbs. If you’re really worried then bring it up at next week’s apt. or even page your doctor! Your body is just getting you ready for your peanuts birthday!

I got this from about 32 weeks on. It's really quite normal. Every time I would stand I'd have a lot of lower abdomal presure and tightening. I also have had the sharp cervical pain in all my pregnancies. Not very fun, I know it can hurt really bad. My OB says the pain is likely due to your cervix beging to dialate but not nessesarly labor. Good luck!

Pre labor....It happens before actual labor...Start counting how far apart the sharp pains are, they are most likely contractions.
Call labor and delivery, they will probably want you to come in.....Or call the on call nurse for your docs office.
Braxton hicks should not be painful, the can be uncomfortable but NOT painful.

The tightness/pulling is probably Braxton Hicks (practice contractions).
The sharper pains are probably round ligament pain. All normal.

hi, cumbersome Uterus because of sixteen wks being pregnant filling the pelvic hollow area tightly will aggravate the nerves passing via pelvis may be aggravated that often is the reason for the indicators. in case you lie down the soreness may be relieved and whilst the being pregnant progression uterus would be pushed up and advance into abdomina and the indicators additionally relieved slowly

It's your ligaments. They soften and stretch to make room for baby and get your body ready for labor.
I've had these pains since I was 30 weeks. It's normal.

its normal, but if you start to get very painful and steady contractions about 2-5 minutes apart its time to get to the doctor.

those can be broxton hicks contraction. they are normal its just your body getting ready for labor. but if you get them ever 2 mins you should call your doc. that can be pre labor. you just need to relax when they come and drink lots of water....

prelabor, braxton hicks, they could be actual contractions also, if it gets any worse go to the hospital...i had that feeling with both of mine, with my first daughter it was actual contractions, but with my second daughter it was braxton hicks..
