Am I acting like a complete girl?
Okay so my BEST friend is having a pool party tonight.I knew nothing about until my cousin called and said my "best" friend wanted me there. I was excited about it first but when I found out that the party was going on when my cousin called i was a little put out. I think it is messed up that my "best" friend wouldn't call me earlier so I could get ready. She knows I don't swim and don't have a swimsuit.. I declined the invitation and I am just going to finish reading one of my many books. Am i acting like a sulking child or do i have a motive to be angry?

More like a sulking child in a good way. I wonder why your best friend didn't tell you about the pool party.

Well knowing you don't swim maybe she didn't think it was a good idea to invite you to a pool party. I understand why your upset though but best advice sometimes girls make bigger deals out of things..Don't let it effect you..Just enjoy the night to yourself and everything well be back to normal tomorrow.I would suggest though saying to her next time call me ahead of time etc. so she knows it didn't go unnoticed.

you should be surprised and angry . if shes supposedly your best friend, she should've invited you to HER party, but instead she made your cousin call you . i think that's pretty messed up . and to me, that's not a best friend .
i think, whenever you see her in person; ask her why she didn't invite you herself . . see why she didn't tell you earlier . see what she says . hopefully its a good reason .
