Why is it people hate lawyers?

They really don't, many just simply misunderstand what it is that attorneys do, the nature of some of our fundamental rights, and that attorneys serve only as an educated mouthpiece for their client.

If people hated lawyers, there wouldn't be so many shows about the legal field. People are mystified by the profession, that mystification appears in a combination of admiration and aversion.

Lawyers are known to fight for their clients, regardless of guilt, which portrays a care exclusively for money.

Lawyers are known to give their all for their client, regardless of the accused crime, just to "do their job."

While this is admirable in one way, it is disgusting in another way.

They ARE just doing their job, but still, you would think that this would numb the conscience somewhat.

Something wrong with a profession when who ever gets there with the money 1st is right

because my boyfriend is in jail for a crime he didnt do and his stupid lawyer is bn a lazy *** and wont make a court date , plus he told him he did make a court date then to find out he lied and really didnt

Yeah, people hate lawyers. And they hate doctors. And they hate cops....At least until they need one themselves...

they hate defence lawyers who get bad people out of jail
