are hopi and mayan prophecies related?

What Mayan prophecies? The ones that Jose Arguelles and half a dozen others have been lying about for 20 years or so?

The Mayans had too much sense to predict that far into the future and I have go too much sense to believe any prophets, ancient or modern. They are all frauds and always have been.

And if there is a Hopi prophecy, what is it? Where is it recorded? (URLs NOT accepted as an answer in this case) Who translated it from the original language? Did the Hopi have writing? Or did some freakazoid fraud just invent it?
