gospel music to me is the old songs some of us grew up listening to like: Jesus hold my hand, old gospel ship, mansion over the hilltop where could I go but to the lord
spiritual music I think is more contemporary music
however if you are singing them to praise God with all your heart he will be pleased

To me, spiritual music includes New Age, to which obviously the gospel music does not qualify. Gospel is music for churches. New Age is music for personal meditation.
