Does too much formatting affect the performance of my laptop?
I like to install new softwares and games and new OSs frequently and many times I often run out of options except formatting everything and reinstall all. Does it affect the performance of the motherboard or harddisk or anything?? I need to format my laptop approx. once a month...

If you are using a sata or pata HDD then too much formatting will affect the disk. Formatting must be the last choice. It is too much if you format 2 to 3 times in a month. Too much formatting will completely crash the disk.
If you are using a SSD (Solid State Drive) then it i not a problem it can be formatted many time.

Installing software and games might, but a new OS will wipe everything out. Reformatting will not affect the performance of your computer at all. Reformatting affects software, not hardware.

You are formatting to many times, it should only be used as a last resort,if a problem can not be solved any other way.
