I had a dream that my baby had died, what does this mean?

Question

I had a dream that I gave birth to a very sickly child.  The child was thin, blue in color, and was attached to many intravenous lines.  I had to leave the baby for some reason and I had a feeling of insecurity and guilt about that.  When I came back from wherever I was I was greeted my relatives, not my close family, but cousins and aunts and uncles--I'm not very close to them in real life and actually don't like many of them very much, kind of crazy.  I knew they had killed my child, that they had taken out the intravenous lines.  When I went to see the child, I saw that they had and they told me that they did also.  I was really upset, they didn't care at all, they were very blase about the whole thing.  Our home was at the edge of an ocean, we threw lotuses or some kind of flower while standing on our deck and into the water to honor the baby.  I was so upset and was crying.  I think at one time they told me the child was a boy and another that it was a girl, I think I ended up concluding that it was a girl.  There were other babies that were alive, shown to me after this one died, I think to cheer me up but I was still really sad and missing my baby.  

I'm really nervous and depressed these days.  I have a lot of trouble at my job, a terrible boss and too much work, I think the company is going downhill.  Also, I just had a bad break up with a really awful guy and I am no longer fond of some friends that I have had and am not very close to them anymore.  Most people in my life have said good riddance to these people as they are kind of bad/toxic but I still miss them, they are also urging me to leave my job but I hesitate because in the end I love the company.  I assume the dream must be about all this but I'm worried about the crazy relatives part. Also, I am still hopeful though and excited about my future and making changes to go to the right direction so I don't know why I had such a scary dream.  Can anyone help interpreting?

I have a lot of weird dreams but I dont worry about them. I believe the brain just runs together a lot of things while you sleep. I live a normal life but all my dreams dont make any sense. You should not read anything into your dream.

it sounds like your really stressed at the moment. your dream could mean you want to start something in the future, but it will not be a good idea and it will not take off like you want it to. i would suggest NOT quitting your job but maybe looking for other opportunities elsewhere. i wouldnt worry about it much because youre already way too stressed.
