What is wrong with Orlando's bench and Clark Kent?

Pietrus is a non-factor in this series after destroying the Cleveland bench by himself in the ECF, Orlando will definitely need something from their bench if they are to have a chance at winning the title. Gortat is another player that is having no effect in this series.

Howard is having no luck against the Lakers front line even though he made some nice passes today but he has to a scorer when their jump shots aren't falling, and there is very little chance their jump shots will be hot for 3 straight games back home.

BQ: Do you feel the series is over? Stat-wise it's pretty much done for Orlando, and I think L.A will get at least one in Orlando.

BQ2: Why is everyone making a big deal out of Shaq making fun of other players? He has always been this way and it was suppose to be all "fun and games" in the past.

BQ3: Does Orlando need something in their back court? Lee, Alston, Pietrus isn't giving them anything.

STAR if you think Lakers will win in less than 7!!!!

Update:

J: there is no fluke in a series, you guys couldn't stop Howard and we did, that's why we are up 2-0 right now.

Update 2:

I guess the Magic did hit some clutch shots that if they missed then Cleveland would have been in the finals right now, but LBJ's game 2 winner had alot of luck in it as well.

Orlando's bench is struggling right now.

The Lakers lost to the Magic in the reg season but this was before nelson was out and before we made changes in our rotation. I think we can agree Lakers>Cavaliers, so what happened in the series between the Cavs bench and the Magic bench has no bearing IMO. The Magic needs to find a better way to be effective because Howard not dunking or driving in, pietrus fouling out, and lewis going off does not equal an Orlando win.

I don't want to be too forward but I think that the Lakers are the better team even though our D was not as good as it was in game one. Game one we were very efficient and that resulted in a blow out game.

BQ: Yes and No. I'm not underestimating the Magic, at the same time, I'm not ignoring the stats either. I want Game 4 in Orlando.

BQ2: Shaq is a hell of a player, his dominance is unquestionable and he'll be a legend. But he has always been that same whining, crying, sh*t talking baby and that makes it hard to like him. Not long ago, he took a shot at Bosh.... Shaq just doesn't know how to shut his mouth and this is something we should all expect from him.

BQ3: Orlando needs to hope for a game 5 or 6 at this point. That's all I have to say about that.

I know I'm going to get 17 thumbs down, but I still think it was a fluke that Orlando beat Cleveland.

Orlando is just off. There is more to basketball than jumpshots and post-moves, but not to the Magic. They can only do two things, and when either one is not clicking, or the Magic are forced to play a half-court tempo. Hopefully, they can get back on track to make this series even more interesting.

EDIT: I see what you mean. Maybe I shouldn't say "fluke" but there is no better way to describe it. I'm a Mavs fan so I observed this match not necessarily pulling for the Cavs, but the Magic were hitting shots in that series, and they aren't now. Not to take anything away from the Lakers, but the Magic are a streaky team, and if they aren't nailing that 3, they don't look too good. Also, Dwight Howard is not as effective as he was versus Cleveland. He's missing shots he was making two weeks ago.

Honestly, if it wasn't for Hedo or Lewis the Magic would have had another blow out loss. I don't think the Magic will win the champion simply for the fact that Kobe just outplays them all. Yeah they might get a few stops here and there, but they are very few. Tonight Orlando did much better in terms of shooting, but Howard just isn't getting anywhere because of the Laker Defense. I think LA is doing what it has to do. Shutting down Howard and making it hard for Orlando to shoot. Orlando hasn't really gotten anywhere in defending Kobe (29 points, that's still quite a feat despite all the double teams and zone defense they were playing against him).

BQ: Yeah I think so. I think it will be either 4-1 Lakers or 4-2 Lakers.

    BQ2: Yeah that's Shaq, unfortunately.

BQ3: They need to hit their shots, that's what they need to do.

Actually Pietrus had like 13 or 14 in game 1 but game 2 2 points but he fouled out early. Lamar has been an x-factor this series for Lakers.

BQ: in game 6 I think it will be over, but not over yet.

    BQ2: I dunno

BQ3: Well Lee hasnt got much touches, and Pietrus did good in game 1 but in game 2 not so well and fouled out. And Alston has been playing really bad this series

Who cares what others think? Clark is a perfectly decent name, actually, I really like it, and if it's a family name, stick with it. So, your family surname happens to be Kent; think of how much fun your little boy will have with this. Besides, it's a much nicer, and far more unique name than many mainstream names nowadays.

    I know.... siiiigh

    BQ1: No Lakers haven't won 4 games yet :-)

BQ2: Cuz his "fun and games" are getting old and starting to get unclassy if that is a word

BQ3: Pietrus is alright he just got fouled out (real early...) Alston is.. playing bad I think Van Gundy should just go with Nelson didn't he play well in game one?

don't forget the magic could have won twice last night,if not for simple mistakes that won't happen again- and they are still not shooting at their usual level, also dwight wasn't on his game.I am pretty certain that the magic will suprise you tuesday with an easy win.

bq-Lakers might still win,but this series is far from over.Trust me!

  • BQ: There's still 5 games left, anything can happen.

BQ2: everyones making a big deal out of it because he's constantly doing it, he needs to shut it and just keep fishing. :)

BQ3: they need to knock down their shots/layups and that would make a big enough difference
