Kind of one-sided romance, I guess. But the girl shares more of it than she realizes...I think. It's not all about romance, though, so don't expect another Twilight (I hate Twilight). It's action-packed, about sometime in the distant future where the United States is called Panem, a country separated into twelve districts and the Capitol. As a reminder of the Dark Days, the days the districts rebelled against the Capitol (all were beaten...and one destroyed), the Hunger Games take place annually. Two tributes from each district, between the ages of twelve and eighteen, are placed in an arena where they must fight to the death, until there is only one left. The winner.

THE LAND OF MYST SERIES by Erin Hatfield. Oh...my....gosh these books, aren't well known but they could be the next harry potter books. They are filled with magic, danger, adventure, sadness (I really cried and I never cry!!), and a little bit of unexpected romance.

The characters are really well developed and when you read it you feel like you are there as a person interacting with everyone. I have never read a book series like this before.

I also got to meet the author not too long ago. I found out my mum and her had been really good friends in high school. That's how I got into her books. So far I have gotten most of m High school friends to read them and they are telling me how awesome they are. I am not sure if she ha a website yet or not, though.

But anyway that is a really awesome series. I hope they are turned into movies so that even more people can know about them. Check them out!
