Don't know what is wrong with my team besides injuries. Help?

I keep getting my butt kicked. What are some changes I might make?

Here is my team:

Pablo Sandoval

Geovany Soto

Adrian Gonzalez

Jorge Cantu

Casey Blake

Orlando Hudson

Ben Zobrist

Mark DeRosa

Ryan Theriot

Ryan Braun

Ryan Ludwick

Jason Kubel

Bobby Abreu

Josh Hamilton (DL)

Joey Votto (DL)

Aramis Ramirez (DL)

Tim Lincecum

Ervin Santana

Matt Cain

Dice-K Matsuzaka

Ryan Dempster

Jake Peavy

Carl Pavano

Francisco Rodriguez

Huston Street

Edison Volquez (DL)

I have to of the players on the DL sitting on the bench. I just recentally picked up Carl Pavano after dropping Scott Kazmir, who is also on the DL. Any improvement, suggestions, anything?

LOL the guy above says your problem is injuries so go get a guy like chipper (one of the most injured players in baseball).

Anyway right now Soto in underperforming bu a lot. Hamilton being on the DL (and Votto and Aramis) is killing you. You lose all your power with thees guys out.

First off i might try to get rid of Dice-K (if anyone wants him). I'm thinking package him with Ludwick for a better power hitter (someone like markakis/Kemp/Rios maybe). Whoever you like. Those two should be able to get you a middle tier OF.

The other guy i would try to sell is Bobby Abreu. I'm a fan of consolidating talent, so again i might try a package deal. Maybe Abreu/Demptser for Dunn/a decent pitcher (volstad perhaps?).

Just try to package away the guys who don't hit for power or are hot right now for guy that do. Try no to lose too much pitching talent in the meantime.

And if you do want to do a huge move, i don't have a problem dealing Peavy/Aramis for a guy like A-Rod.

    Good luck

Looks like if you have that many big name guys that you are in a league with few teams. Few teams means that the other teams have great offense also and probably less injuries and your pitching seems a bit short for such a shallow league.

Your hitting is weak due to injuries. try trading someone like dempster or even dice-k for a power guy at 3rd like chipper

  • I agree with him ^^. Try trading Dempster for a power hitter. You could even trade Cain and K-Rod for two power hitters or something (Bay and Longoria?). Oh and whatever you do, DON'T TRADE OR DROP ADRIAN GONE-ZO GONZALEZ!!!
