you mean given a suffix(after the name).

you forgot Fredrick(Germany) in the middle ages

Carolus Magnus(Charles the Great ) of France

and i believe there were two Alexander the Greats:

    Greece in ancient times

    Russia1800-1900's

    Alfred the Great - England.

Charles the Great (Charlemagne) - France.

    Alexander the Great - Macedonia.

    Peter the Great - Russia.

    Catherine the Great - Russia.

    Frederick the Great - Prussia.

    Constantine the Great - Rome.

Those spring to mind - there were probably a lot more, though.

I can think of 4 off the top of my head

    Alexander the Great

    Cyrus the Great

    Peter the Great

    Catherine the Great

I think Great Britain must be the only one. I've tried putting "Great" in front of other countries and they don't fit.

    ie Great Australia

    Great Russian

    Great thailand

    Great Japan

    Great Russia

They may well believe that they are all "great", but in general use I don;'t think so!!
