can anyone tell me who all were given a prefix GREAT in the World History?
no...i had read in some history book that....there were 3 people who received the Prefix GREAT...2 i remember..they are Alexander and Akbar...I want to know who is the third one??

you mean given a suffix(after the name).
you forgot Fredrick(Germany) in the middle ages
Carolus Magnus(Charles the Great ) of France
and i believe there were two Alexander the Greats:
Greece in ancient times
Russia1800-1900's

Alfred the Great - England.
Charles the Great (Charlemagne) - France.
Alexander the Great - Macedonia.
Peter the Great - Russia.
Catherine the Great - Russia.
Frederick the Great - Prussia.
Constantine the Great - Rome.
Those spring to mind - there were probably a lot more, though.

I think Great Britain must be the only one. I've tried putting "Great" in front of other countries and they don't fit.
ie Great Australia
Great Russian
Great thailand
Great Japan
Great Russia
They may well believe that they are all "great", but in general use I don;'t think so!!
