Ancient Palestine included Syria, which bordered and was sometimes part of Mesopotamia. So if you wish to stretch the point a bit, Gilgamesh could be considered. While it is mostly a Mesopotamian story, it was widespread through Syria, and it became incorporated into the Judea Torah/Old Testament through the story of the flood.

Since it traveled so far into the Ancient Middle East, it is hard to imagine that Palestine didn't have the same tales.

Try Gilgamesh, it is a wonderful epic. It is a long story, mostly made up of many shorter stories concerning the adventures of a Mesopotamian King and his best friend. It contains nearly action for action the story of the flood with a different name for the hero who lives to be 800 years old. It is an adventure and includes a quest for immortality with the ending being "be happy with the time you have" cliche. It is the oldest literature known to exist and is said to be copied from even older clay tablets. The copies found in Iraq/Iran were over five thousand years old.

Be aware that the Greeks called them Phoenicians, and the Hebrews called them Philistines. These are all names for the same people, just different translations.

They founded the city-state of Carthage, and it's here that you may find some info, but don't forget that the victors write History, and Rome crushed Carthage, burning the city, killing or carrying off (slaves) ALL of the people, and salting the Earth lest it ever grow anything again..
