My dog's left eye has turned entirely black. Whats wrong?
At first, her left eye was just tearing, and had some black gunk around it which we wiped away with a warm towel.
Now the gunk is still there and her entire eye has been glazed over baclk and she looks like a villian/monster from a movie. Really funky looking.
My dad said it was like this the other day and it cleared up back to normal. But since Ive been home, its been entirely black.
What could be wrong?
Thanks for any help. I'll gladly clarify if you need more info.

Could be disease, infection, or trauma related. In all of these instances a visit to the vet is IMPERATIVE. Don't mess around with this, your dog could lose her eye.

If you can afford a computer and internet access, you can afford a veterinarian. You can't help your dog if you don't know what's wrong. Take him to the vet and get an actual diagnosis. Not every illness or condition has a home remedy. Most don't, or we wouldn't have had to invent medical and veterinary science; we'd still be going to the herbalist for all our needs.

you need to get the eye checked by your vet
