Do you like rear spoilers on sedans?

Most spoilers on passenger cars are only for looks. A spoiler will not add speed it will restrict it instead. They do not work a low speeds i.e below 55mph. It is used to create downforce on the rear of the vehicle for stability and by doing this will also help with fwd cars.

one example of it working is on the audi tt when it first came out had no spoiler and the car was unstable at high speeds i.e. above 120mph. The lift off the rear axle was over 100lbs of lift. After installing the spoiler the lift off the rear axle was brought down to a nuber around 50lbs of lift making the car more stable. But again it only will come into affect at higher speeds.

NOOOOOOOOOO. Spoilers were created to do one thing. Produce down force. The last thing you would ever want is a functional spoiler on the rear of a front wheel drive car (would make it handle even worse). So having a useless spoiler is just that.......useless......and it looks ridiculous. If fact, very few sports cars even have a spoiler. Not the lotus elise, F430, 599gtb, enzo, murcielago, gallado, cayman, any aston martin, pagani zonda, saleen, R8, and the list goes on. These days spoilers are for boy racers on their civics and that's about it.

sometimes they do. i like rear spoilers on th new Accord sedan, cuz th trunk looks 2 curvy than other sedans. i would consider buying flatter ones.
