Where is a good place to buy nightstands?

Question

I am redecorating my room and I want all my furniture to be around the same color. I am having trouble finding a black or dark brown nightstand that isn't a lot of money. All the ones at IKEA are a lot more than I want to spend. I want to stay in the $35 range.

Since you want black or brown instead of a stain color you have the option of painting one if you find a style you like but it's the wrong color. In that price range the choices will be small and that may be something you may want to consider. Say you like this stand...

You could paint it whatever color you like. I know this one is slightly more expensive than you wanted but it is a much better stand than most at this price. It's a clearance item.Same with this next one. It's my favorite but I have very old fashioned taste and love anything beadboard...

Consider using different types of tables like accent tables or entry tables. Our bedside tables are actually dining room sideboaards because we wanted extra large ones. Everyone loves them. These little end tables are only 29.99...

Cheap Black Nightstands

Look on your local Craigslist under furniture. Great bargains especially from owners not dealers. Find one with a nice design at a thrift store, older stuff is unique and made way better. Just get yourself a can of spray paint at the hardware store or Walmart.

You won't beleive it but sometimes target or wall mart can be helpful...they tend to have cheap cute stuff...
I bought a small stand for $15 ! and it was a pretty nice tv stand.
