Why everyone is crazy after Windows 7........?

I've been using a testing version of Windows 7 for around about six months. It is basically what Vista should have been, Vista without all of the annoyances.

That being said, there are still lots of problems with it and I would urge anyone who is not a die hard gamer to at least consider alternatives such as Mac, Linux, Unix or even ReactOS which is a complete rewrite of Windows 2003/XP from scratch. http://www.reactos.org/en/index.html - Bear in mind that ReactOS is still very much in the early stages though.

I've used Macs, Windows, and DOS since their first versions. Macs were better for a long time but now with xp and vista, I like windows much better. And, windows boxes or laptops are 3 to 5 times less expensive than a Mac with the same features. Macs are very unfriendly when I want to keep track of my files, windows, especially vista makes it real easy.

So when Microsoft create a new version of Windows, you don't think people should be made aware of it? Vista works fine for me for the past two years

No dude.. I have been using VISTA since a long time, and I am happy with that. .

And windows 7 is quite faster than vista, more facilities, easy to use.

And after all, I am a microsoft fan..

Its just for publicity and Win 7 is not really great its just a patchup for vista, its not crazy just has enhanced look that's it.

Microsoft spin. Every time they bring out a new OS or application, it is touted as the ultimate version for a couple of years until the new ultimate version comes out.

It is just like you wait for a baby. Only after the baby is born can you tell how it is. Til then everyone will be ecited about it.
