Why is the US backing a two State solution in the Middle East when anyone can see it will never work?

Update:

At one time we agreed slavery was appropriate. Seeing there is a group that wll never agree then it is a bad idea.

Update 2:

I have know solutions and nobody else does either. Maybe what we have now is all that there is.

Because we think we can solve the problem by “talking” and forcing Israel to give up land. It’ll never work, but since when has that stopped Democrats from trying to force their views on others?

We’re trying to convince a country 1/7th the size of Florida to give up half their land to terrorists who’ve been killing their people for 60 years. Not only that, we’re asking Israel to give up half of Jerusalem as well. So to recap, we’re asking a tiny country to give half its land to people who don’t even acknowledge Israel’s right to exist. On top of all this, The Palestinians had a shot at their own state in 1947. Partition plan 181 would have split modern Israel 60/40 Israel and Palestine, but no, the Arabs were too damn greedy and wanted it all, they rejected the plan and with it, any chance at a second Arab state in the mandate. Arabs in the Middle East control 640 times as much land as the Israelis, yet refuse to cede any land to create a Palestinian state. Jordan and Israel were created from the land of the British mandate, Jordan is three times the size of Israel, and most of the so-called Palestinians are Jordanian citizens, yet Jordan refuses to accept Palestinian refugees, or give land to create a Palestinian state.

We can not honestly believe that forcing Israel to give up more land will solve the problem. So far, they have given up more land then they now control, they have given over 50% yet it’s still not enough to satisfy the Terrorists. They won’t be satisfied till they control every inch of the Middle East and they drive the Jews into the sea.

Because it's not true that "anyone" can see it won't work. Many people think it can work and that it's the answer to the problem. Nothing else has worked has it? This may be the answer. I'll be interested in hearing the output when the real dialogue begins, and the suggestions for alternate solutions.

He grew to become into our puppet dictator for a together as besides. As for Libya, the rebels are properly related to Al-Qaeda or perhaps nevertheless Gadaffi is ineffective we nonetheless bomb villages. And we take 10 365 days to seize one guy? We borrow money from China to furnish help to Pakistan, together as we bomb Pakistan, and their government hides Bin weighted down from us? we want a non-interventionst distant places coverage! we've extra oil interior the U. What do you think will work? Should we put the Israelis under Palestinian rule? LOL.

FYI: We've been backing a two state solution for a decade.

Because if he can jerk the Americans and Israelis off for another 3 and a half years, then he's in the clear, and the inevitable conflict that escalates into apocalyptic scales won't happen on his watch.

Good question. Right now, Hamas refuses a single state solution, so we don't have much of a choice. Maybe Palestinian leadership will change, though.

It doesn't matter. Time is on the Palestinian's side as birth rates favor the muslim community, even in Israel itself. Eventually Israel will find itself with a MAJORITY muslim population and we will quickly find out that Israel (and the Jewish population) isn't quite as "Democratic" as we might think.

because that is the most compromising solution for both sides. you play here and you play there. respect the boarder.

    who says it wont work

most of the problems we have in the middle east are a result of our failed policy to back Israel and their murderous ways
