tbu....you mising two match type for zimbaba...they bitting asstralin inside 1983 world cups and also inside 2007 worlds 20 type . and i thinking for the bigest upset having India wining 1983 world cups final in front of pawerfull waste windes team like that . that having best upset becas final inside world cups and no peple giving India any chanse like that .

I can tell you about another kind of upset.... A stomach upset, Neil Smith an English batsmen actually was physically sick on the cricket pitch once in a World Cup in 1996 vs UAE.

As for actual upsets, i will choose a different one. Zimbabwe beating Pakistan in a Test Series in 1996.

Zimbabwe had yet to win a Test Match in 11 the had played faced a Pakistan side who had just beaten Australia and South Africa.

Yet Zimbabwe desytroyed Pakistan in 4 days by an innings for there first ever Test win.

I still think Irelands win over Pakistan was slightly more shocking than this, but i just wanted to be different :>)

Bangladesh beat Australia, NatWest Series, 2005

The Dutch beating England would be a big upset. But I'm going for when NZ beat Australia in the opening match in the 1992 World Cup. At the start of 1991-92, NZ got beaten by England in the Tests and ODIs, so no one gave NZ a chance. Mr Martin Crowe came out to bat and knock a century then when NZ bowled, he bought in Dipak Patel to open the bowling.

Ireland beat Pakistan, World cup, 2007

It was not only a huge upset. The repercussions were many. I always felt India lost the next match as they were mentally under great strain following the death of the Pak coach and what followed.

Bangladesh is of course a major upset- ter if there is such a word.

But the best could be Bangladesh defeating SA in super 8.midway of the series.

Kenya beat West Indies, World Cup,1996. i was really young but it is still embarrassing even to this day.

The biggest upset in cricket is the fact that South Africa has not won a world cup.I still think Alan Donald was bribed to drop his bat.A few years ago now but the pain is still there.
