can probation officers walk in every part of your home without a warrant when come for home visits?

or can they just go in one room for the meeting.

    No they can not. They are only allowed in common areas and in your bedroom. If you have a room mate they are not allowed to search that person's room.

    In my state, the home owner is advised of rules of probation before they allow the probationer to live there. This means they can go anywhere in the home with the exception of rooms where the probationer has no interest in, such as his parents bedroom.

    Yes, the probation officer can (but does no have to) check the whole place.

    yes they can.....that is something given up when you go on probation. The right to say "no" when your P.O. wants to search you, your home, car etc. Of course you can say no, however, you risk losing your probation status if you do and could serve the remainder of the time in jail.

    They are allowed to go anywhere they want. They are required to vouch to the court that you are staying out of trouble. Restricting their access would not make this possible.
