Griffith Observatory?

We are planning a trip there. Is that an all day event or can I plan something else later, like siteseeing in Hollywood?

You can do some more sightseeing after visiting the observatory. If you want to see the fantistic outer space show, please call for reservation. It's really popular. We were there recently and spent a couple of hours there. The observatory underwent a complete and extensive remodel last year and it's a geat place to visit.

Make an early in the day reservation, and then head down to Hollywood Boulevard for lunch and sightseeing.

    Have fun!

Griffith Observatory can be seen in a couple hours, three tops. Plan on going to Hollywood & Highland afterwards.

The best time to go is at night, so you can use it for what it is meant for, seeing the stars!!

Id say on average we spent 2 hours there when we use to go with the kids. Check their website for extra things going on, sometimes clubs bring their own telescopes to the area out front, and you can look through those two! They might have the lazrium music show too which is neat.

Unless you're going to spend time in the rest of the park, you should have plenty of time to see Hollywood or surrounds.

    Do make reservations, though.
