and while you have the av cords out, take the power one out and your hard drive and leave it for a while. see if it'll reset itself...

If you've gotten it so many times, and if your using the Red the White and The Yellow. I suggest you change to the Blue the Green and the Red. It'll take a few days until it's gone.

You could try and remove the hard drive and unplug everything then plug them back in and try again and it might be that it's just happening for a certain game. . . . happened to my box of x and i had to send it in they ended up just giving me a brand new one which was kewl

you cant really fix the RROD contact Microsoft they will send you a sticker (no longer an empty box) stick it on your xbox (make sure you remove your hard drive and keep it) send it back to Microsoft and they will send you a new one back =]
