How many think China is right about CO2?

Question

Although China and India are using 8 % more coal every year, they believe that it is their right to do so.  China is arguing that the West should reduce CO2 even more than they are so that China and India can burn more without harming the environment.  They argue that the CO2 per ca pita in China and India is way below that of developed nations.  How many of my environmental comrades are willing to sacrifice more of those things we have grown use to, i.e. heat, transportation, electricity, etc. so that our Chinese brothers and sisters can live better?

We must do more to help China and India...the guilt of the West having successfully used our resources to build a prosperous economy and standard of living is enormous! I guess the corollary of their recommendation should be enforced by government edict. The West must have an average of 10 children per family and allow our cows to have free reign of our cities streets. We can use government money to pay our engineers to pick up cow dung as our new "green" jobs begin to flourish. Then we can send the youngest ones to State schools to learn the errors of their forefathers and their evil Capitalist ways.
I wonder where you can get those nice whips that they use at Easter to celebrate the passion of the Christ. You know...the nice ones with spikes! I think that I could make some money with that. The West NEEDS to beat itself up in guilt. It’s only fitting!
