help me get over alcohol?

usually take at least a year to really feel great. Alcoholism is a close cousin to insanity. You may try Alcoholics Anomyous to get some insight to you problems. Give it at least 6 meetings before you make a decision whether to continue going to meetings. Yes some are really crazy in AA. But stick with it.If you like it only stay around 5 years. Otherwise you will go back being crazy after being around AA members so long.

Also remember only about 5% of people recover from alcoholism, whether going to AA or doing it on their own!!!!!!

Find something that you like....gardening, reading, movies....and try. You'll feel better when you are ready. Go help at a shleter.
