I have a boneless cooked turkey breast, large (about 2lbs.) that seems like deli meat. What to do with it?

I don't really like turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, hot turkey sandwiches. Or, I'm just not in the mood for that.

What ELSE can I do with it?

Something tasty and creative!

get a reallly good pourous bread like semolina.

take some mayo and mix with cranberry

    some gravy

your choice of swiss cheese, peppery jack cheese, or a sharp aged white cheddar

next, vine ripened tomatoes, chilled in the fridge shredded lettuce..

take 3 slices, first layer the mayo /cran sauce, then the tomato and lettuce place turkey

take the next layer of bread, dip it in the gravy sauce, both sides. This is because turkey can be dry, so you want something thats moist to balance it..

next layer more turkey, cheese with a small amount of shredded lettuce and mayo/cran

sear it in a george forman grill or frying pan

Make a homemade turkey pot pie. Oh that is so good. Here's the recipe.

If your turkey is raw, bake it until thoroughly cooked. Then dice in chunks.

In a pot, add one stick butter or margarine, let melt. Put 1 1/2 tablespoons flour in melted butter and stir until smooth. Now add 2 cups half and half and 1 cup milk, let come to a boil and turn off to cool. This should be rather thick, and if not, thicken with cornstarch. In a skillet, add 1 tablespoon butter and let melt, add one small chopped onion and let wilt. Add turkey into this and sautee for a few minutes, remove from heat. One more pot, cut up and boil some potatoes, maybe 2 potates diced up, cook until tender.

Now grease a large, deep sided casserole or a 9 x 13 pan. Put the turkey and drained potates in with the milk, salt and pepper to taste and pour, mix well and pour into the casserole dish. Now if you have some frozen peas and carrots or a can of peas and carrots (drain water out of can), pour this around the milk and meat. Now you can make a crust for this dish by using a can or two of biscuits or using Bisquick, you can make the biscuits to go on top. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30, or until biscuits are nicely brown.
