how to I send someone a message on myspace?

Okay... so I am trying to send the Jonas Brothers a myspace message.  I know how dumb that sounds, but my daughter is a HUGE fan and for her 8th birthday I am taking her to the Jonas concert and I would like to know if they ever do birthday wishes to people in the crowd.  It will be a rough summer for her because her older brother is moving 2000 miles away to live with their dad and she will be really sad.  This concert will be the highlight of a very sad summer for her and it also happens to fall on her birthday.

I read that the Jo-Bros (yeah, I went there) read their myspace blog (?) each day but when I try to send a note or comment it says I have to be friends with someone even though I do have an account which I signed up for yesterday.

I'm totally confused... and a total nerd, I know.   Can anyone help?

put the mouse over the person u want to send it to. Something will pop up then click new message and type your message and go all the way to the bottom and click send.

Um....just press the add as friend button and a little box will show up asking you to have a message along with the friend request. I doubt they will reply since there a so many blind fans doing the same thing.

I personally don't like the Jonas Brothers to say the least. Because it's okay to spend almost 1000 dollars to take my sister to the Jonas concert next Saturday, but a $400 PS3 is just asking too much, especially since I will pay for half of it. BS if you ask me....

well if you have an account go to the contact box where it says add to friends, message block etc.

and they click on add to friends 

then you have to wait till they add you in order to send them a message
