Do you believe in God?
I believe in God. There is no doubt in my mind that I don't. I just wanted to see your views, and why you think that way. I don't just believe in God, I know He is real. And so is Jesus. He is PASSION. =]
Answer and please star!! God Bless!
How about this for exidence. When my grandpa was on his deathbed, why did he look in the corner and say he saw heaven. And a moment before he was gone, he shouted GOD! He saw God. Hmmm...I know God is real. No one can change it. =]
Please explain your reasonings!!!!!!!
For some of you, at least I will go to heaven and won't be burning and suffering for the rest of eternity. And for the ones who believe, thank you Lord for you because at first the answers brought me down. I pray that the ones who do not believe find you, Lord. And may you always be with them.
ok. i am not shooting down people, i say stuff like that because i stick strong in my beliefs. and my grandpa wasn't hallucenating, he saw God. And Jessa, don't shoot ME down expressing my feelings. so....there.

Nope. I don't pretend to know stuff I can't know the answers to. Assuming there's a God is not something I can do. I have to have some kind of evidence before I can accept something as true. There is nothing that suggests to me- TO ME, mind you- that biblegod was responsible for creating the universe or that he even exists.
EDIT: Your grandfather was dying. Of course he's going to experience weird things. NDEs, Near-Death Experiences, are pretty well documented and are said to reflect the religious or cultural views of those who experience them. In other words, they're fabrications of the mind made under extreme duress.
Your threats of Hell won't move me, nor will your sick assurance that I will end up there. A God that predicates salvation from eternal, unimaginably excruciating suffering on groundless faith is not one that I wish to worship.

Well bucko I'd bet you a million dollars that if you had been born in Iran and raised as a moslem you'd be just as loudly, proudly, and self assuredly claiming that allah is the one true god and mohammad his prophet. Sorry--wanting something to be true with all your heart is not the same as it being true in reality. And you really aren't supposed to preach on here, thats reportable.

Actually you don't "know", you believe. They are two different things.
There is no evidence for the existence of anything supernatural. The only reason to believe in a god is because someone else has told you they exist, and/or it makes you feel good.
Untill there is actual evidence to support the god hypothesis though, I must take the default position which is that there are no gods.

I don't believe in that sugar-coated crap that you define as "God" but sometimes I wonder about energy and how we're all connected in this world.
But God...I know that's a load of bullcrap. You don't even know what it is, but for some reason you "know" it is.
So...no, I don't believe in "PASSION".
"For some of you, at least I will go to heaven and won't be burning and suffering for the rest of eternity."
At least I'm not going to excuse every flaw in my existence with religion or god. At least I'm not going to ever make stupid claims in defense of my religion that can easily be disproved. At least when other people disprove them I won't cover my ears and shout. At least I can think for myself. At least I know the difference between reality and utopia. At least I can understand simple science and logic. At least I know the difference between delusions see by someone half-dead and reality. At least I don't ask people for their opinions, knowing I'm more accepting of one than the other, then put people down for giving the opinion I knew was coming but don't approve of. At least my morals come from what I know and feel and not a book written when humanity lacked morals. At least I don't repeat the same regurgitated crap because I'm convinced it will help me...even if it pissed off others. At least I don't use a bible as evidence for all of my illogical claims. At least I don't deny science. At least I don't shoot down what I don't know then choose something ridiculous because I know no one can shoot it down because it's too ridiculous to prove. At least I don't worship something I'll never be sure about. At least I wasn't brainwashed growing up. And if hell IS real, then at least I'll be down there with the most moral, nice, intelligent, and kick *** people instead of stuck in heaven with a god who sits back and watches as people are raped, killed, tortured, corrupted, abused, struck with unfortunate illness. And at least I won't be stuck with a god who is the biggest hypocrite I've ever met.
You don't ask for opinions then shoot people down for expressing them.

Sure don't.
I don't mean to disrespect your grandfather, but... he was dying. I'm assuming that all of his systems were grinding to a halt and that his neurological processes were rapidly deteriorating. Most likely, he hallucinated.

YES I DO.
There is no doubt that Jesus is Lord and that each one of us, if we would ask Him to, He would reveal Himself to us.
Seriously, Jesus Himself said that He would.
Ask Him to make Himself known to you - your life will be way better - and Heaven is so wonderful our minds can not even conceive it!!!!
