Help me please!!!!!!!?

ok so me and my friends were taking pictures w/ my mom's digital and after we were done we turned it off and everything but now Im trying to turn it on and it wont work!!! how do i like make it work please help me!!! if itz broken I will b byond dead!!!!

Update:

the batteries r fine I just charged them and it wont work!! omg im so dead!!!!!

    Are you sure it didn't just run out of battery? if it has a charger, charge it. if not, then replace the batteries. or just take out the battery and put it back in. turn the camera on and see if it works. Good luck!

    try to find the instructions online and look through the trouble shooting part

    you may need a new battery

    they do wear out
