is it ok to disconnect my bt hub from the mains at night?

    Yes, although you may find that any available software updates aren't downloaded automatically and you may have to wait if there is one available while it installs it. Added to the fact it will take a minute or two to establish the broadband connection at startup.

    yes its perfectly safe, although i do sometimes find, mine is a little slow to start the next day but then it soon picks up!!!
