Good, such as it is, arises from my actions. So my actions are good or evil (or really, most of the time, neither)

We all want to believe that we are a 'good' person, and in almost every situation we'll spin it around to find those little 'good' circumstances that push us out in a positive manner - even in the worst of things.

I believe I am a good person in the aspect that I confess to my faults and take blame for my actions. Although, I could also say I believe I am not for being selfless too many times and taking the fault and blame for someone elses actions.

It's a win/lose situation, really. I cancel out my good for taking someone elses negatives.

I'll resolve it with the cliche answer, "I do it with the best of intentions."

1) don't preach to others about what god they should believe.

I think I'm a person who has thoughts and actions that are, hopefully, more on the "good" side. I don't have a history of enemies, I don't enter constant battles with myself to suppress unhealthy behavior, I find it difficult to think about topics with more than one side when I've only been exposed to one side (my parents tell me I've always been like this), and...uh, I like to smile, but only when those around me are also having a good time.

I believe that im a good person. You can say that i'm empathic toward other people and i try to be the best person that i can. I'm not perfect(hey were all sinners), i respect other peoples beliefs, and i don't think that im superior to others

No, I don't. I've seen the darker side of who I am, and I know that but for the mercy of God and His guidance, I could be as evil as they come.

because in my opinion, to be considered a good person, you have to not do horrible things to others intentionally, and you have to not just look away when you see horrible things being done by other people

i believe that your actions make you a good person. most christian religions believe that i will go to hell, but even if i do, i know that i am a good person, even if i don't believe in god.
