Is this okay to do for the senior project (only experienced people please)?

You didn't say if you have any basic training. I'm thinking before you job shadow - you have to have the basic training.

You need to talk to the Volunteer Director or Volunteer Coordinator. They will probably place you where they need you or what you may be adept to.

I loved working in the nursing home years ago - then I worked for Human Services. I liked both and found I worked best at helping other who were in need of someone who cared.

You need to try and see what you like and if you like it - go for it.

Good for you ..volunteering in a hospital..The medical staff will not let you shadow them due to patient confidentially..what goes on with a patient is not for any lay person to know..there are many other things you can do..you can do transport, mail and flower delivery, information, {which room a patient is in}, these are only a few of the many thing that volunteers do..meanwhile you can see if any thing the medical staff does will help you in making a decision for a future career ..Check with the head of the volunteers, he/she will be delighted to have your help and will find something that will interest you, and you find fun to do..makes every one happy..
