Do a lot of research before you pick.

They are both older players and will finish with very close to the same numbers by the end of the year. (Tejada will slow down). So this comes down to value. SS is way too thin a position to give up on a guy like Tejada and you can usually just pick up a good OF off the waiver wire. Keep Tejada and you could definitely get better for him than Dye.

Are you kidding me?
I would never give up a solid middle infielder for an outfielder. I don't care how big your league is you can get more than that. OF are always on the waiver wire.
2nd basemen and SS are high end real estate. I wouldn't give up one of them for anything less than a stud SP or C.
The problem you run into is if you trade him how do you replace him?
There just aren't that many good options. So you better get a damn good bounty if you give him up.

Tejada is playing pretty good right now while Dye is not putting up great numbers. Depends who can pick up to replace Tejada in your league. If you can pick up a good SS in free agency it might be worth it. Especially if Dye improves you outfield stats. What does the rest of your team look like?
Good luck

I would say no, infielders, especially shortstop, are pretty shallow, outfield is a pretty deep position so I am guessing that there are some good outfielders available in free agency especially since there are only four teams.
So no I would not take that trade.

If you need an OF or need more power, do the trade. If not, I think I'd hold onto Tejada for a while.

if i were doing the math i would study really hard very carefully I like Jermaine Dye personally but since i don't have the stats in front of me it's to hard to say
