A raw potato is cheap and brilliant acne natural cure, especially for whiteheads. The vitamin C makes your skin glow, and alkaline in the potato kills the bacteria on your face. The potato also has an exfoliating effect helping you to get rid of dead skin cells. Papaya fruit produces similar effect; you should also use it raw. (Make sure the potato isn't genetically modified!)
Hormones, genetics and stress levels can all play a factor in getting bumps, so it may take more than a magic potion to get rid of them. Here are some other tips that worked for me:
STOP eating and drinking foods with refined or artificial sugars, like high fructose corn syrup, crystalline fructose or aspartame/phenylalanine. Up your vitamins C, E, K & A; Omega-3's, antioxidants; Flax seed & extra-virgin olive & coconut oils: swallow a spoonful a day. Do some exercise like dancing or yoga. Get a little sun everyday, no more than 10 minutes if you have a light complexion. Drink more water. Try using witchazel as a toner during the day, and unfiltered apple cider vinegar at night.

What kind of bumps are trying to get rid of- ? Acne, keritosis or chicken skin, rocesea etc... I've heard that Walgreens has AHA- or alpha hydroxy acid in it... It may sting a little initially but, for $6 it's suppossed to work really well.....
good luck
