ACLU Where Are You On This?

Well, everything we've tried in the past 8 years hasn't worked, so I doubt any thing we do now will either.

It's funny--it used to be conservative groups who fought for the right to privacy. The John Birch Society, it was one of their major concerns!

In fact back in the 1930s when FDR wanted every American to get a Social Security card, one of the main concerns Republicans expressed was that the SS number would become a national ID number. The law specifically stated that the SS no. should never be used for ID outside the SS system, but today it is widely used for ID.

Hummm - haven't heard anything official on this fromk the ACLU. But since Obama won't try Bush and Cheney for war crimes, the money I used to give to Obama now goes to the ACLU.

They're the only ones who will take on big government and make it stick - I've always found it odd that the right wing ding dongs hate the ACLU so much since they're the ones always shouting about upholding the Constitution.

Does any sane person really care what the Anti-Christian Lawyers Union says about anything?

The ACLU is probably in on it, since they are a communist, anti-American and anti-Christian self-appointed organization. It's all about control, the more control we let Obama have over us, the more the ACLU can help further oppress our religious freedoms.

The ACLU has become a left wing anti-Christian, Anti-American organization. They aren't going to be very gung-ho in opposing Obama.
