Has anyone ever noticed that people ask the same questions?

I've noticed that the same questions are constantly popping up over and over and over again by different people. Is there a reason behind this? It happens in every category I go in, but the most common is in the police section. Someone always asks the question about if these crimes are a felony or misdemeanor. And there's a list of 5 crimes. Steal from a toy store, rape and strangle 5 women, and a couple other ones. It drives me nuts everytime someone asks this.

Update:

Just to add a little detail. The questions I'm thinking of is the exact same question, almost word for word, same exact crimes every single time. I'm just curious if it's the same person just being obnoxious or what?

Also, I put this question in this section, because this is the section I'm on the most.

And those of you with the smart a** comments, I will be reporting them.

If you suggest that it is someone repeatedly asking from different accounts, inform Yahoo. What is most likely going on is these are new users to yahoo answers and are just using it for that one question. Those are common crimes, that is probably why.

I haven't really noticed that but I have noticed that this question is in the wrong category.

So what if you're on this section the most? You're complaining about seeing the same questions over and over again and I'm pointing out that you're being just as obnoxious as those people by posting this question in the wrong section. There's nothing more annoying when you have an unanswered question in a category and somebody bumps it off by posting a question that doesn't belong in that category. I don't think anybody cares if you report them. I know I'm right and you're wrong.

I don't know about the police section, but as far as the more psychological questions go, I think it just shows that people think and worry about the same things. Or maybe they're too lazy to Google an answer and think it's easier to ask here? Lots of problems are universal (rape and strangle apparently included. =S)

Relax and enjoy the ride. I don't think this site is supposed to be for brain twisters and stress. Maybe some people don't have time to read all the previous questions and answers and just need info fast - sooner rather than later. I think this site offers entertainment along with some useful information.....

The one question I see asked over and over and over again is a kid asking about emancipation.

Here is what drives me nuts: when someone posts a question (legal/law forum) and fails by leaving out one important piece of information....what state they are in. HOW are we supposed to give advice or opinions about a legal question when they don't tell you what state it pertains to? Do they honestly think we are mind readers?

Probably people just want more answers! I don't do that, but i do notice some people do that. They probably just want a new answer or something else (i mean people's opinions). As far as i notice the "the same questions" people put the question in different way, on purpose.

    Hope this helped you.

I haven't really noticed that, but what I have noticed is how completely ridiculous and ignorant people can be. Mostly the ones who ask things like: "Am I Pretty/Ugly?" or "Am I Fat?"

Or various other stupid questions to ask people over the internet!

    GAH D:

    So dumb and depressing!
