something is weird with my bike rim?
i've got a 1980's peugot carbolite road bike that i love. recently, i got a flat tire. i changed the tube and filled it and rode around for a little. after a while, the tire was totally flat again. i took off the tube, filled it, and put it under water and looked for holes or a problem with a valve, but turns out neither tube had anything wrong with it... could the problem be with my rim? i'm pretty sure they're the original rims to the bike. thanks

You tube has to have a hole in it some where. Pump it up more and check all around it. If it is on the inside check the rim tape and the rim for burs. Also take the tire off the rim and check the bead for a wire sticking out or something stuck in the tread.

If you haven't, try checking your tire for thorns, glass, etc that might still be sticking to your tire
