There is a lot of interest in gold at the moment. A large hedge fund recently purchased a million ounces and also gold mining stocks. You can buy it under the ticker GLD. China has been really hot lately. A couple of ETFs are CHN and TDF. CHN is pure China. TDF also invests in other Asian countries. TDF has been outperforming CHN I think.
