How to get Christian Conservatives to Conserve Life?

Why lump all Christians into the same political box - what makes you think all Christians are first of all pro-life according to anti-abortion claims. Has it never dawned upon you that maybe the pro-lifers are louder??

I am unsure where you get the notion that all Christians deny global warming or are against government run health care - Much to your error not all Christians are republican

By all means do not satisfy your ego by pretending to know whom and who I should not support politically. I look at their stance on the issues and do my best to pick some one who is the closest to my own ideas. I do not look at theology, religious affiliations nor do I look at political parties. I do however look at past political records, legislative voting records should that be applicable and things that will indicate weather or not this candidate is being honest or is just blowing smoke

Being capable of thinking for oneself is amazingly independent of political and spiritual beliefs. There are Christians who are incapable of thinking for themselves just as there are pagans and atheist who are not able to formulate an independent thought. Stupidity is a universal phenomenon that can be found through out humanity without regards to economic, spiritual, political or cultural barriers

When I was a Christian I found it distasteful when preachers would get behind the pulpit to degrade other faiths or spread falsehoods about other spiritual paths, as a pagan I continue to find the practice of spreading stigmas distasteful

If you want to know why Christians believe as they do then try setting your ignorance aside long enough to objectively learn for yourself.

A. If global warming is such a concern, then the entire American population is partly to blame. Why aren't liberals giving up their foamy lattes, iPods, iPhones, high fashion and every other luxury they have in this country that consumes hundreds of thousands of tons of fossil fuels and other resources? This "blame the conservatives" crap is getting old.

And why stop there, we may as well include all of Europe, Australia, Japan, S. Korea. Since most of the citizens in those countries live pretty luxurious lives compared to most of the world, and consume mass amounts of fossil fuels to satiate their appetite for comfort. And then there is also China and India who pollute more than the US, trying to attain the level of comfort and luxury we and the rest of the global north experiences.

Government managed health care is a disaster. Government and big pharma corps will manipulate you with government run health care and ration it.... duh!!

B. Greed and lust for power is just as rampant in the public sector as it is in the private sector. The difference between the two is that the private sector is infinitely more efficient than the public sector. Pry the big government teat from your mouth and look at the world through an unbiased lens for once.

A. Global warming does not exist. Al Gore might as well be called a false prophet.

Nationalized healthcare actually kills more people (not that I care to worship at the altar of aesclypius anymore).

People have been manipulated by the lies of the world since Cain and there is nothing new under the sun. That being said, we were told to obey God in all things as Christians, therefore we should have no part in worldly politics.

B. Christians should not lobby, participate in government, kill people, etc.

C. We were told as Christians not to care for the riches of the earth as a man may only serve one master for if he attempted to serve two masters he would adore one and despise the other. We must choose God or mammon.

If you really want to see more love, you should encourage all Christians to read the Bible and obey the commandments of the Lord from the heart not for appearances' sake.

Faith cannot be legislated, for the state churches have proven that such is false which does not come from the heart but only from the mouth.

Why do the Pro death love death and suffering so much?
