Do the liberals realize how much World respect the US has lost since Obama became the leader?

I think the liberals have Oprah Winfrey and the rest of hollywood for putting in Obama.

I did not vote for him.

But I know that God can change things, no matter who is in the white house.

2 Chronicles 7:14 says this

14If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

We Christians have a part to play in this very dark time, to pray, pray, pray and pray till God moves mountains out the path of America.

America is not down for the count yet.

Praise God for His mercy towards our great nation.

North Korea is testing nukes. Did India or Pakistan "respect" the U.S. when they developed their nukes? Perhaps the speed of nuclear proliferation around the world isn't related to "respect" for the U.S., but the technological ability needed to produce a nuclear bomb.

China laughs. Considering that they own more U.S. debt than the States can ever possibly pay back, it's little wonder that China is laughing. They've manoeuvred themselves into a very powerful position, and they're a little arrogant with their status. They aren't the first nation to behave that way. It's been happening since the dawn of society.

The Iranians elect the radicals. I don't like their current President (I won't even attempt to spell his name because I'm sure I will butcher it), but what does my opinion have to do with the election? What does the American opinion have to do with it? Are we Iranian? Do we have a vote in the Iranian election? We have as much say in their right to vote as they have in ours. None.

Europe thinks the U.S. is nuts. This is not a new phenomenon.

Russia says that the U.S. is making the same mistakes that they made. Are you sure they aren't right? Even if they aren't, are they not allowed an opinion? How is an opinion a lack of "respect"?

Baghdad doesn't respect the U.S. military. It bothers me when any state doesn't respect the lives of men and women who fight for their freedom. I can't argue that the military should be respected, but I will point out that the Obama administration is vowing to have the troops out of Iraq within the next few years. Then there will no longer be a problem with respect.

I'm not supporting Obama, or the Bush administration that preceded him. Regardless of who is in charge, are you sure that you aren't confusing the notions of "fear" and "respect"?

No, they are blinded by their tickling ears media. Let us look at the big liberal issues last year.

1. Global warming. This summer is the coldest on record for decades in Canada and the northeast. No comment from the liberals.

2. Budget. Last year at this time the federal deficit was around 140 billion dollars and the libs went nuts. This year it is over 800 BILLION dollars (five times last years) and the liberals are silent- Obama does no wrong.

3. International prestige. This year N. Korea is threatening nuclear war, and Pravda is lecturing us on how stupid we are.

$4$. The economy. Since Obama took over he has fired the CEO of GM who actually had a plan to save the company and now that Obama has nationalized GM, he sold Hummer to the Chinese.----HELLO, IS ANYONE AWAKE OUT THERE. HE HAD TO DO THIS TO GET THE CHINESE TO CONTINUE TO BUY WORTHLESS UNITED STATES JUNK DEBT.

They were threatening not to buy, because, unlike Americans, they realize that our paper money is only as strong as our will to impose our desires on the rest of the world. When that resolve is gone, then our currency is fiat.

5. Jobs. Well, so far industry has hastened layoffs, knowing that Obama plans to tax them so heavily, that they cannot survive. In fact, my own business may go under, not because of Bush, but because of what Obama is doing now.

The pieces are lining up on the chess board, and the game is ready to be played out.

The symbol for the United States is not mentioned in prophecy. We are also not mentioned as an ally to Israel in the last days.

Obama is really starting to show his anti Israel colors.

And you haven't even mentioned that Iran convicted an American journalist and N. Korea has convicted two American journalists.

We are now the laughing stock of the world. A bunch of passive sissies.

They have read Obama right and know that he is afraid to do anything but talk. I feared this would happen, but I am not at all surprised.

We are much less safe than before and we have no one to blame but ourselves for electing Obama.

I do not respect the US Government anymore. I think it's all so green, it's terrifying!

America appears weaker in the worlds eyes too. The American media, including Fox News, would never tell you this. But I'm not an American and I've asked quite a few people.

I still respect and admire American people who work hard and who are doing the best they can under this amature leader.

& it will only get worse.

The liberals have their messiah and he can do not wrong.

The economy is down the tubes & the jobs BHO promised are nowhere to be found & he spends money (on useless programs) like it was water.

When this all comes down, they will not understand what happened & will look for some way to blame it on Bush or the conservative people.

I don't know if you were aware of it, but NK first tested a nuclear weapon in October 2006. Now who was president in 2006? Who Iran elects is Iran's business, in any case, that election was clearly rigged. One candidate there failed to poll a significant vote in his home town, despite being apparently the most popular candidate on a local basis. Somehow his campaign staff exceeded his number of votes, which raises questions about it being rigged.

Obama is widely respected in Europe, especially here in the UK. The noises coming from the White House are breath of fresh air.

Look on the bright side: Since there wasn't much respect for us left after Bush, there wasn't much for him to lose so it's not a BIG loss. ;-)

Actually I live in a forreign country and the general feeling is we respect America more. In fact after George Bush and the republican Vice presidential candidate respect for America couldn't get any lower.
