Poll today......talks between conservatives and liberals?

I have never been able to figure out liberal logic.

Of course there are exceptions, but my experience has been that liberals dwell more upon what they are told to think than on what they actually think. Evidence of this is that almost all liberals conduct their life in a conservative manner yet somehow feel compelled to yield them self over to their party propaganda in support of causes into which they really don't buy, but for their loyalty. Most of them simply root for the team without regard to what their team is trying to accomplish.

I am willing to discuss both with conservatives, although I am unlikely to agree with them. However, often such discussions dissolve into petty name calling, refusal to compromise and political point scoring - not just from conservatives either.

I do not think that it is fair to say liberals are defensive and self righteous and conservatives are not. Both sides can be just as pig headed and ignorant as the other.

My honest observations over the years has lead me to believe that conservatives of all religions are the most tolerant and understanding people in America. Liberals of all religions are typically unwavering in their ideology and perversion of their religion.

1) Yes, liberals do have difficulty talking about religion since they lack faith in anything greater than themselves. When Hillary or Algore talk about God, you can tell they are just faking it.

2) Probably, yes, but some conservatives get pissed when liberals praise Islam and knock Christiainity (see Obama's Cairo speech). I know that really gets me steamed!

1. No - Regina, you are not right in saying this about all "liberals". It is just like saying they are all robots and have the same brain functions, etc.

2. No - Regina it would not be "fair" to all those (liberal or otherwise) who do have their own opinions and are able to speak them freely without being "judgmental"

(Not all) but many liberals tend to be insecure. This is because many of them know deep down that there IS right and wrong, good and evil but they follow an ideology that tries to pretend that's not so.

Just my opinion.

Yes, you are right. I believe this is because liberals don't like to be reminded that they are going to hell unless they change.

I haven't talked to a Liberal in years.

I don't listen to their Hate and their Whining.

I just work hard and pay taxes to feed and clothe them.

But....... I don't have to listen to them.
